    Oslo City Hall
    The Oslo City Hall houses the City Council, City administration, and art studios and galleries. The construction started in 1931, but was paused by the outbreak of World War II, before the official inauguration in 1950. Its characteristic architecture, artworks, and the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony makes it one of Oslo's most famous buildings. It was designed by Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson.

    The Fortress area is open to the public from 6 am to 9 pm. Changing of the guards at 1:30pm.

    Parliament
    The Storting (Stortinget, literally "The Big Thing") is the Norwegian Parliament, and is located in the capital city Oslo. It sits in the Storting building which was completed in 1866 and was designed by the Swedish architect Emil Victor Langlet.

    There are guided tours three times a day during summer, except Saturday and Sunday

    The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design
    16 exhibitions, presenting Norwegian and international art are planned to be shown in The National Museum's venues during 2005. At the beginning of 2005, 3 new basis exhibitions opened. These showcase work from the museum's own collections and are presented respectively in The Museum of Decorative Arts, The Museum of Contemporary Art and The National Gallery.

    Royal Palace
    The Royal Palace in Oslo is open to the public during the summer. Each year a special exhibition is arranged in connection with the guided tours. The 2007 exhibition will be devoted to Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja, in honour of their 70th birthdays.

    Ibsens Museum
    The Ibsen Museum consists of two major parts: A new comprehensive exhibit featuring the playwright Ibsen's life and work, and Ibsen's private home, where he lived the last 11 years of his life. During 2005 and spring 2006, the home of Henrik Ibsen and his whife Suzannah, has been restored and is re-opened to the public the 23 May, exactly 100 years after Ibsen passed away.

    Nobel Institute
    The Nobel Peace Center is a center where you can experience and learn about the various Peace Prize Laureates and their activities as well as the remarkable history of Alfred Nobel. In addition, it will serve as voice and meeting place where exhibits, discussions and reflections related to war, peace and conflict resolution is in focus.

    Vigeland Sculpture Park
    Vigeland Sculpture Park is a part of the Frogner Park, located in the district of Oslo called Frogner, west of the city centre. The Frogner Park is part of the Frogner Manor and is the most famous park in Norway, it was created by sculptor Gustav Vigeland between the years 1907 and 1942. Most of the sculptures date from the years 1926 to 1942.

    Norwegian Folk Museum
    At Norsk Folkemuseum - the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History - you can experience and learn about traditional Norwegian culture and history.
    During summer, a variety of activities take place in the Open-Air Museum:
    Guided tours, folk music and dancing, demonstration of traditional arts and crafts, baking of "lefse", horse-and-buggy rides and "Norwegian Evening."

    Maritime Museum
    The Norwegian Maritime Museum is in a fantastic location, right on the edge of the Oslo Fjord. The museum was built on a naze overlooking the city, called Bygdynes, and is right next door to the Kon-Tiki and Fram Museums, so visitors can see all three maritime museums and enjoy exploring the grounds and beach as well.

    Polar Ship Fram Museum
    The Fram Museum (The Polar Ship Fram) shows the history of the polar explorers. Here youll find the worlds most famous polarship, Fram, from 1892, the museums main attraction.The ship is displayed in its original condition with interior and objects perfectly preserved. Every visitor is welcome on board Fram.

    Kon-Tiki
    The Kon-Tiki Museum is a private foundation, which houses a range of boats and artefacts from Thor Heyerdahls expeditions. Here you can see the original Kon-Tiki raft (1947) with a 30 foot whale shark below it, statues and a secret family cave from Easter Island (1956), the papyrus boat Ra II (1970), and an exciting collection of archaeological finds from Easter Island, East Polynesia, Galapagos and Peru.

    The coach will pass more than 40 attractions and has 10 stops along the route, where you can hop on or hop off. It will pass regularly every 30 minutes thereafter.

    Hop on as long as you have a valid ticket. You can buy your ticket onboard the bus, at the tourist informations or at Norway Shop by the City Hall.
